Since its establishment in 1988, Oneworld Hanxin College has achieved remarkable success in nurturing talents in the fields of media, broadcasting, and film. Countless Hanxin alumni have shone across various industries, making meaningful contributions to society in Malaysia and around the world. As a result, the college has earned its reputation as the cradle of Chinese-language media professionals.
As the oldest Chinese-language communication institution in Malaysia, the college upholds the founding philosophy of Mr. Lim Keng Hun: “Education for all regardless of background”. With affordable tuition fees, we strive to provide underprivileged students with the opportunity to pursue higher education. Since I assumed the role of Managing Director in 2018, I have remained committed to this inclusive and accessible approach to education, working closely with the management team to continue nurturing talent and advancing the college's mission.
We offer two major academic courses: Diploma in Broadcasting, and Diploma in Media Studies. All programmes are fully accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). In 2022, Oneworld Hanxin College was recognised as a “Berdaya Saing” (Competitive) higher education institution. Our curriculum is known for its strong emphasis on hands-on practice and real-world applications, ensuring that students are well-prepared for the demands of the media industry.
